A brand new Specsavers store in Strood opened its doors on Saturday 17 March and to celebrate, the team hosted an inauguration party for local residents to enjoy.

The Mayor and Mayoress of Medway kindly opened the store on the day and delivered a welcome speech to the new team and customers.

The store features some of the latest technologies in optometry, including a new OCT Retinal Scanner that creates a 3D model of the back of the eye, while also taking pictures.

The new store is one of the first Specsavers store in Medway to feature this pioneering technology.
