The team from Specsavers Street has raised more than £100 for Breast Cancer Care, following a month of fundraising to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Throughout October, the team each wore something pink and encouraged customers to make donations. A cake sale also took place on Wednesday 18 November to help further boost the fundraising total.

'A great way to show our support'

‘We all really enjoyed getting involved with the pink-themed fundraising,’ said store director, Colin Shearer.

‘Most of us know someone who has been affected by breast cancer so this was a great way to show our support. We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who made a donation.’
