Help the charity
The Specsavers store in St Neots, located at 13 High Street, supported the charity with glowing clothing as well as bake sales from which all proceeds were donated to help the charity. The store have also been selling Guide Dog badges in store and distributing informative leaflets about the charity’s work to raise awareness of the importance of Guide Dogs for the blind and visually impaired which has resulted in a fantastic £200 collection.
The store's director said: ‘We are very proud to support the Guide Dogs charity and we have really enjoyed raising money to help them. Guide dogs are extremely important in serving the blind and visually impaired and in many instances, they help to provide a level of normality in day to day life.
‘Unfortunately we are all guilty of taking our sight for granted from time to time and it is therefore vital that we highlight the work carried out by the charity and to show that we all need to work together to support the charity and the visually impaired community.’
