St Ives residents were given a magical surprise when the local Specsavers was transformed into a scene from a Disney ® film for a day.
Raising vital funds
Staff spent a day in the shoes of their favourite Disney® characters to raise vital funds for The Brain Tumour Charity.
As well as the Disney® outfits, customers were presented with Disney®-themed cupcakes for sale along with a ‘guess the number of sweets’ competition, with two designer eyewear vouchers up for grabs.
Interact with the locals
Store Director Sandip Patel, says: ‘We all really enjoyed the day. It was a great opportunity for us to have some fun and interact with the locals while also raising money and awareness for a great cause. What’s more, everyone loves Disney® and it’s not every day you get the opportunity to spend a day at work dressed like your favourite Disney® character, in my case Robin Hood!
Aware of the charity
‘It was great to see the local residents supporting us in raising £100 for The Brain Tumour charity. Hopefully there will be a few more people aware of the charity and the amazing work it does than there were before.’
