Specsavers Stirling are continuing their support for Strathcarron Hospice with a sponsored 10k.
Raise the roof
The store has pledged £1,000 to the charities Raise the Roof appeal with a walk on Tuesday 7 August.
The pledge will go towards the £50,000 needed to fund vital roof repairs to the building.
Care and support
Strathcarron Hospice provide care and support to over 1,400 people in the Forth Valley, Cumbernauld and Kilsyth with life-limiting illness or condition, at a time when both they and their family need it most.
The repairs are vital to ensure that local people are supported during the most difficult of times. Without such repairs, the Hospice will be unable to continue to provide expert end-of-life care, love and support to local people facing a terminal illness and their families.
Ophthalmic director, Julie Pritchard said: ‘Strathcarron Hospice is very important to us, and we want to raise as much money as possible to help them repair vital works to the roof.
‘We hope our customers can dig deep and sponsor our 10k walk to help up meet our target.’
