Home-baked sweet treats have helped staff at Specsavers in St Andrews raise £32 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The team from the local store held a bake sale, offering tasty carrot and chocolate cake to customers and visitors in exchange for a donation to the charity, which offers support to those affected by or suffering from cancer.
Every little helps
Julia Campbell, store director, said: ‘Every little helps and it was great to see staff and customers really get involved in the spirit of the day. At St Andrews, we try to do what we can to give back. It was a lovely day – we were able to raise money for a great cause while also enjoying some delicious home baking!’
