Happy birthday to Specsavers South Harrow!
10 years' heritage on the high street
On behalf of all the team, the directors would like to thank local residents for their loyalty over the years.
As a gesture of their appreciation, the team laid on some party fun for residents. Iconic dancing grannies busted some moves outside the store - and stopped traffic too! - plus a special hero, Specman flew into town to join the fun.
South Harrow councillor, Rekha Shah was on hand to cut the ceremonial birthday cake which followed a lunchtime banquet for customers and staff put on by the store’s directors. They were joined by Matt Rising, Specsavers relationship manager, and Mike Rowe, Specsavers divisional relationship manager for London.
Mike was also celebrating a milestone on the day – his first job at Specsavers was to officially open the South Harrow store a decade ago.
A word from the director
Ekta Kumar says of the day's events: 'What a great birthday party we had! We couldn't let a 10 year anniversary go by without some fuss, and we were delighted with entertainment that customers loved too.
'We also want to say a special thank you to the community for their ongoing support. Here is to another 10 successful years serving residents of South Harrow.'
