Miss Birmingham 2017/18 and the current Miss England Publicity helped to launch will.i.am’s exclusive eyewear collection at Solihull Specsavers.
Niamh Conway, aged 23, partnered with the store, to not only unveil the new hip-hop superstar’s specs range, but to also support the team’s 25 in 25 campaign; raising funds for 25 local charities across the year to mark the store’s 25th anniversary.
A word from the store director
‘When we heard Niamh had made this year’s Miss England semi-finals, we thought it was an ideal opportunity to show off the new will.i.am collection which includes regular specs and sunglasses’ said store director Brad Parkes. ‘It’s also great to work collaboratively with Niamh on our fundraising aims, supporting local causes.’
Supporting local causes
Niamh is currently involved in organising the ‘Touch of Sparkle’ charity ball. Taking place on Friday 22 June at the Ramada Hotel in Sutton Coldfield, the event aims to raise money for two children’s charities: Libby Mae’s Little Angels and Beauty With A Purpose. Specsavers in Solihull is supporting the event by donating a raffle prize.
‘Not only is our campaign raising funds for local causes, but we are endeavouring to raise awareness and the profile of other great causes too, and the ‘Touch of Sparkle’ event is a great example,’ added Brad.
