Specsavers is well and truly open for business in Sheringham – after a fun packed opening day attended by a special celebrity guest.
Former Norwich City football hero Iwan Roberts popped down to the new store, in the High Street, to declare it officially open.
The store has three testing rooms dedicated to eye tests, as well as an audiology room. It also has a high tech ocular coherence tomography (OCT) machine, which is used to provide early detection of eye conditions like diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and glaucoma.
Specsavers Sheringham is the latest venture for the passionate and experienced team behind the stores in East Dereham and Fakenham.
Realising a dream
Kevin Osborne, store director in Sheringham, said: ‘We have been keen to open a store in Sheringham for nearly a decade now, so we are delighted that we have been able to realise that dream.
Supporting local people
‘In all our stores, our goal is to deliver affordable and accessible eye and hearing care to support local people. The response to the new store so far suggests that we are doing just that for people in Sheringham, Cromer, Holt and the surrounding area.
‘So if you have not been to see us yet, why not pop in – or book an eye or hearing test online today.’
