Specsavers on Shandwick Place is putting customer service into sharp focus after undergoing a £40k refurbishment.

The store, located in Edinburgh City Centre, was officially re-opened on Saturday 1 November by representatives from Edinburgh Rugby, Carl Bezuidenhout and Michael Tait.

The sporting stars were joined by “Dug” the Guide Dog mascot and Willy Wonka to celebrate the grand re-launch of the store.

Make-overs and money off
A make-up artist was also on-hand during the event, offering make-overs and frame-styling to customers while Willy Wonka greeted visitors with golden tickets offering money-off vouchers.

As part of the refit, the Specsavers store has changed layout to improve the customer experience with a modern and fresh environment.

Customers can now browse a wider collection of glasses, including an extended designer range.

Word from the Director
Susan McIntosh Mills, store director of Specsavers on Shandwick Place, says: ‘Customers will benefit enormously from the refit and we are very proud to bring this investment to the store now that the tram-works have finished and the street is thriving again.

‘We would like to thank the Edinburgh Rugby players for officially re-launching our store; it was a great privilege to have them with us.

‘We hope that the re-fit re-affirms our commitment to the community and that our customers will continue to enjoy visiting Specsavers Shandwick Place time after time.’
