A team of Sevenoaks superheroes demonstrated their super fundraising skills in aid of The Heart of Kent Hospice last Saturday. Superhero outfit Staff from Specsavers in Sevenoaks dressed up as popular superheroes and planned a host of activities to raise vital funds for the charity.
Customers had the opportunity to win 10% off their glasses by correctly identifying staffs’ baby photos. There was also a raffle to win a pair of designer glasses, and staff were offering minor glasses repair service in exchange for donations.
Maxine Chakowa, store director of Specsavers in Sevenoaks, says: ‘We are thrilled to have raised vital funds for such a worthy cause and we would like to thank our loyal customers for their generosity and for making the day such a resounding success.’
