The team at Specsavers Seaford want to help local people feel safe and secure while they are out and about.
That is why the Broad Street store has joined others in town in acting as a Safe Haven for anyone who may feel intimidated on the street and need somewhere to go where they feel out of danger.
Come and see us
Chris Titherington, store director in Seaford, said: ‘Obviously Seaford is a relatively safe place to work and shop, and we hope nobody ever has to use our Safe Haven. But we wanted to make our store available to local people just in case.
‘If you are ever out and about and are worried for your safety, please come and see us. We will stay with you, and can even call a friend or family member for you if needed.’
