Specsavers Seaford have said a fond farewell to ophthalmic director Martin East after he retired last month.
Martin, who opened the Seaford store in Broad Street in 2005, has been an optometrist for 36 years – and opened Specsavers Eastbourne in 1989.
A word from the retail director
Chris Titherington, retail director in Seaford, said: ‘We will all miss Martin a great deal. His passion for his role and experience in optometry made him a formidable ophthalmic director – and we would all like to wish him all the best for a long and happy retirement.
‘We would also like to take this opportunity to welcome Jasvinder Saroo as a new ophthalmic director. We look forward to working with him.’
