The team at Specsavers Seaford are ready and waiting to help glaucoma sufferers manage their condition.
And some of the staff at the Broad Street store have recently taken a training course designed by Specsavers and the International Glaucoma Association which will help them offer greater support on the shop floor – especially with how to apply eye drops effectively.
A word from the store director
Chris Titherington, store director in Seaford, said: ‘We are committed to serving all of our customers to the best of our ability, so this training course was a natural choice for us.
‘Glaucoma is often detected for the first time through a routine eye test, and – although it is more common in older people – can happen at any age. So if you have not had a test for a while you should book one soon so we can check your eyes are healthy and in tip top condition.’
