The team at Specsavers Seaford are in safe hands when it comes to training and development.
That is because Chris Titherington has just achieved Gold status as an in store trainer.
Chris completes this role alongside his new role as retail director at the Broad Street store, after completing his pathway qualification.
Training and development
Being an in store trainer with Specsavers involves identifying the training needs of the rest of the team, and then finding opportunities for them to develop their skills.
Specsavers supports in store trainers with their own training programme to give them the knowledge and skills they need to effectively support others.
Being the best
Chris said: ‘Looking after training and development for the team here is one of the most rewarding parts of my role. We hire our staff based on attitude and enthusiasm, and then help them develop the skills they need for a career in eye or hearing care.
‘As a Platinum Employer, helping our staff be the best they can be really matters to us. For their sake, but also so that they can offer the best possible service to our customers. We will continue to strive to do our best for all of our people.’
