If you need some help with your hearing aid, you really should pop down to Specsavers Seaford and have a word with Amy Walden.

Broadening her skills

That is because Amy, who has worked as an optical assistant at the Broad Street store for a year, has recently undertaken intensive training with the audiology team at Specsavers Eastbourne to broaden her skills.

That means that – alongside helping customers with their eye tests and choose their glasses – she can also carry out minor repairs on faulty hearing aids, and answer some of your burning audiology questions too.

Proud store director

Chris Titherington, store director in Seaford, said: ‘We are all really proud of Amy. She has worked really hard since she joined us to build her skills in optics, and is now tackling audiology too. All that and dressing up as Elsa from Frozen for Christmas Magic last year.

‘We cannot wait to see what she does next. In the meantime, if you have any questions about the hearing services we offer in store, why not pop down and talk to Amy.’
