An optical assistant at Specsavers in Saltcoats has been presented with a Customer First Award for going the extra mile for her customers.
This accolade is awarded by Specsavers to recognise and reward team members, from stores across the UK, who go above and beyond to serve customers and exceed their expectations.
High standard of customer care
Alistair Ferdinand, director of Specsavers in Saltcoats, said: ‘I am delighted that Catherine’s continued high standard of customer care has been recognised. She is a valued member of the team here at Saltcoats and a deserving winner of this award.’
Catherine McLelland was nominated by her fellow colleagues after providing superb service to an elderly woman and her daughter. Catherine arranged a visit to a local nursing home armed with a selection of frames to choose from. She later delivered the chosen frames with a card and box of chocolates. This example is just one of many occasions that Catherine has shown attention to detail and dedication to each of her customers.
