Eyecare experts at Specsavers in Rutherglen are encouraging locals to ensure their eye health checks are up to date as we get ready for winter.
Driving can be a lot more difficult now that nights are drawing in and it’s a lot darker in the evenings.
The team in Rutherglen hopes that people will get their eyes checked out to help them stay safe this season – especially while on the road at night.
Store director, Peter Beaton, gives his advice ‘It’s important to look after your eyes all year round and now – as the nights are getting darker and road conditions are becoming less clear – its the ideal time to check your prescription is up to date.
‘Eye tests can detect underlying health issues as well as changes in your vision so keeping up to date with health checks is very important.’
