Staff at Specsavers in Rutherglen raised an impressive £302.50 during the store’s Red Nose Day fundraisers.
Customers buying comedy glasses from the store got the chance to take part in a free prize draw for a £20 high street voucher and there was face painting for the kids. Store director Peter Beaton also dyed his beard red for the cause.
Peter Beaton, store director of Specsavers Rutherglen, said: ‘Thanks so much to our customers for their support – we have been overwhelmed by their generosity.
All our staff have had lots of fun making their faces funny for money this Red Nose Day and everyone’s so pleased that we were able to contribute a great amount to the Specsavers’ total.’
