Residents in Romsey were treated to a day of fun and festivities as a local opticians celebrated its first birthday.
Reason to celebrate
Specsavers, located at 22 Market Place, was decorated with balloons and had plenty to celebrate. After only a year in town, the store has taken on eight staff, sold 4,000 frames, provided close to 6,000 sight tests, and has treated 4,500 customers.
Cupcakes for charity
To celebrate, optical assistant Sam Geary championed a bake sale in the store in aid of Jane Scarth House, a local charity that Specsavers Romsey has supported since it opened last year.
Proud and excited
Store Director, Eve Robertson said: “It was great to have an event in-store that brought the community together to celebrate. The staff have worked so hard in our first year and we can’t wait to serve the people of Romsey for years to come.”
