Eve Robertson and Gina Graham are the store directors of Specsavers in Romsey.
Eve has worked for Specsavers for 18 years.
She started her career in optics at the age of 19. Between 2001 and 2014, Eve was manager at Specsavers in Andover and was also the Regional Managers Chair Person between 2009 and 2012.
Eve said: ‘I love the variety each day brings, as well as building a rapport with customers and helping them. I feel a great sense of satisfaction watching my team develop and grow. The job is a constant learning curve and I thrive on being busy but very organised at the same time.’
Born in London, Eve now lives just outside of Salisbury. She spent a year travelling in South America, Australia and the Pacific Islands. Eve has two small children and enjoys going to Pilates each week, as well as baking and doing Sudoku and crossword puzzles.
She also has a passion for amateur dramatics, having played roles in musicals such as Anything Goes, Godspell and Crazy For You – for which she also choreographed all of the tap dancing. In addition to this, Eve has also completed the Great South Run twice.
Gina has worked for Specsavers for 28 years.
Optometry has always been in Gina’s background. She first fell into the profession because she has always worn glasses and contact lenses herself.
Gina said: ‘My favourite part of working at Specsavers has to be sorting out problems and helping customers. There’s a real personal element at Specsavers as you get one-to-one interaction with customers, which allows you to give them a bespoke service.’
Gina was born in Wimbledon. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, travelling and taking part in triathlons.
