Specsavers in Ripon turned pink on Tuesday 14 October to raise vital funds for Breast Cancer Care.

In aid of the charity, the team at Ripon Specsavers embraced the colour pink as the theme for a day of fundraising. The team also held an in store bake sale, which raised £60 for the cause.

Nicola Nisbet, store director at Specsavers in Ripon, commented: ‘The charity provides invaluable support to victims of the disease so we were thrilled to support them by raising vital funds.

‘Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer and we’d like to thank our customers who came into store yesterday to support our fundraising efforts.’
