Staff at Specsavers in Ripley have been filling up their calendars with fundraising events in aid of their local hospital.

With a total of more than £300 to date, the store has organised a range of activities to raise funds for Ripley Hospital Eye Clinic, including an Easter raffle which alone raised £200.

Hard work and dedication

‘I am very proud of the team for their hard work and dedication to fundraising, and we are delighted that the local community has joined us in our support of the eye clinic,’ store director, Kuldip Dosanjh, said. ‘We are looking forward to a summer full of even more activities, so keep an eye out for what we’ve got going on in the coming weeks.’

The Ripley Hospital Eye Clinic deals with issues such as neuro-ophthalmology, glaucoma and cataracts.
