Specsavers Ringwood has raised money for Prostate Cancer UK this Christmas by holding an in-store competition.
Toy reindeer for a special cause
The store encouraged people to try their luck at winning a toy reindeer for the special cause, with all money raised going towards the charity.
Store director Bruce Fitzgerald said: ‘We’ve been raising money for Prostate Cancer UK throughout the year and were keen to give it one last push.
Helping thousands of men
‘We invited people to come in and to win a reindeer for their children or grandchildren for a great cause. The charity does fantastic work helping thousands of men who suffer from prostate cancer and we’d like to encourage our Ringwood community to continue supporting them.’
Prostate Cancer UK is the UK’s largest men’s health charity which aims to help more men survive prostate cancer, investing millions of pounds into research, services and awareness.
