Staff from the Specsavers Richmond store took part in an annual fundraiser by wearing their favourite festive knits in exchange for a donation to Save the Children.
15 December marked the annual Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, where all over the country thousands of people wore Christmas jumpers for a great cause.
Donations on the day help bring essential healthcare, education, protection and food to millions of children who are missing out on these basics.
Money also goes to protecting children from easily preventable yet very deadly diseases like malaria, diarrhoea and pneumonia.
A word from the store manager
Kimberley Bewick, store manager at Specsavers Richmond said: ‘Nothing says Christmas more than a fun and festive jumper!
'What better way to support the incredible work that Save the Children does than to raise a smile from all our customers.
‘We’d like to thank everyone for their contributions and also to our customers for their support all year round.’
