The team at Specsavers in Richmond is offering greater care to customers living with glaucoma after completing a new training course.
Developed in conjunction with the International Glaucoma Association, the training will enable staff at the store to assist sufferers with their treatment, such as advising on how to effectively administer eye drops.
Protecting your vision
The Richmond team also joined Specsavers around the UK in supporting World Glaucoma Week this month (11-18 March), a global initiative raising awareness about the condition and how to manage it.
Jayesh Solankey, store director at Specsavers Richmond, said: ‘Glaucoma is a difficult condition to spot and can lead to irreversible damage to your vision if left unchecked. The extra training we have received will enable us to provide even better care to customers living with glaucoma.’
