With highly trained and experienced optometrists in store, Specsavers Portslade is definitely the place to come for help and advice with your eye health.
And now you can get that support at the Boundary Road store before you even see the optometrist, thanks to freshly trained Royal National Institute for Blind People (RNIB) Ambassador Deb Scarlett.
Increased customer support
The new training course, which was developed by the RNIB and Specsavers, is designed to give retail staff a wider understanding of a range of eye conditions.
This means that customers can get greater support with their individual eye care needs on the shop floor before they get as far as having their eyes checked by an optometrist.
A word from the store director
Sophie Sharma, store director in Portslade, said: ‘Training and development are really important to us as a store, as it makes our staff happier and also means that they can provide an even better service to our customers.
‘So if you have any questions about your eye health, why not pop in and talk to our team.’
