Specsavers Portslade were excited to welcome National Eye Health Week this September.
The store, which opened earlier this year in Boundary Road, got out the bunting to celebrate the annual awareness week run by the Royal National Institute for Blind People (RNIB).
Regular eye tests
Sophie Sharma, store director in Portslade, said: ‘National Eye Health Week highlights the importance of taking care of our eyes – and getting regular eye tests is a massive part of that.
‘It is recommended that we all get an eye test every two years from the age of four unless we have been told that we need one more often. They can provide a vital early warning for a number of eye conditions, as well as other medical conditions, so it is not just about whether you need glasses or a new prescription. So if you have not had an eye test for a while, why not book one online today.’
