The team at Specsavers in Portishead have put children’s safety in the frame this Road Safety Week (23-29 November).

Madeline Middleton, store manager, paid a visit to Portishead Rainbows group to equip the youngsters with high-visibility jackets, ensuring they are safe – and visible – when near the roads.

During her visit, Madeline also spoke with the children about road safety and taught them how to cross the road safely, using the ‘stop, look and listen’ message.

As a co-sponsor of Road Safety Week – the annual event organised by Brake – Specsavers is equipping youngsters with high-visibility vests and raising awareness of life-saving road safety messages.
