Red Nose Day 2015 is set to offer more than just Red Noses this year. Bright red comedy glasses with hair raising eyebrows, as modelled by Gok Wan, are also coming to Specsavers in Pontypool.
Visitors to Specsavers located on George Street, Pontypool can make their faces funny for money by purchasing a pair, with £1 from every pair donated straight to Comic Relief.
Funny for money
This year’s Red Nose Day takes place on Friday 13 March. Whether at home, work or school, the public are being encouraged to 'make their faces funny for money' – from painting their faces to shaving their eyebrows, and most importantly, donning their special Specsavers specs.
Fundraising for Red Nose Day helps poor and vulnerable people living incredibly tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa.
Join the fun
Anna Davies, director of Specsavers in Pontypool, said: ‘We’re all set to make our faces funny for money in support of the great work that Red Nose Day does. We want to encourage everyone, young and old, to call in to the store, join in the fun and buy their Red Nose Day glasses!’
Specsavers’ official Red Nose Day glasses are available in small or large sizes for £3 per pair. £1 from each pair sold will go straight to Comic Relief.
