A word from the store director
Bijal Sakaria, store director of Specsavers in Penge, said: ‘A huge factor in road safety is sight, and as eyecare specialists we feel it is our responsibility to champion awareness of this during Road Safety Week. That’s why we’re calling on local children to help us set an example to other pedestrians to stay visible to road users in poor light conditions over winter by collecting and wearing their high visibility vests. Likewise, we’re renewing our call to drivers to put vision on their agendas and make time for regular screening.’
