Palmers Green eyecare specialists are taking action this Road Safety Week to encourage road awareness among pedestrians and road users in the area.
Specsavers in Palmers Green will be handing out 200 high visibility vests to local children throughout the annual awareness week and renewing their call to drivers to make time for eye screening in their regular healthcare routines.
A word from the store director
Jaswinder Singh Nagra, store director of Specsavers in Palmers Green, said: ‘As optical experts, it’s our job to raise awareness of the links between road safety and vision during Road Safety Week. Not only are we calling on pedestrians to make themselves visible to drivers, but on drivers and cyclists to make sure their eyes are road-safe. We encourage children to help us get the message out to the community by stopping by and collecting their vests from store.’
