Specsavers Paisley are recruiting new staff and expanding its capacity by investing in an additional test room.

Expanding capacity
Specsavers in The Paisley Centre has begun work to create a fifth test room which will allow an extra 60 eye examinations to be carried out each week.

The store development will also create three new staff positions, adding to the existing team of 36.

Gail Thompson, director of Specsavers in Paisley, said: 'The creation of an additional test room has been a long time in the planning and we are thrilled that it’s now underway.

This investment represents our long term commitment to delivering great service to all our existing and new customers in the area.

As well as a brand new test room, we’ll also be kitting the store out with some new equipment including a high-tech field testing machine used during eye tests.

There will be no disruption to customers and the store will remain open with work being carried out outside of our opening hours.’

Launch celebrations
The store expansion is expected to be completed by the end of July and will be marked with special launch celebrations on 6 and 8 August.
