Specsavers in Oswestry has continued to support Hope House Children’s Hospice by collecting toys and games for the charity.
Throughout April and May, the Specsavers team asked customers to donate unwanted toys and outdoor games throughout April and May. Generous visitors also donated £120, which the store used to buy two bicycles for the children at Hope House.
‘We’re incredibly proud to be continuing our support of Hope House and we’d like to say a huge ‘thank you’ to our generous customers who made a donation,’ said Dawn Cheatham, store director. ‘We know our past fundraising has gone a long way for the hospice, and with the weather getting better, we’re sure Hope House will put the toys to good use.’
Hope House provides specialist nursing care and support to life-limited children, young people and young adults from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid-Wales. The hospice’s support extends to the whole family - from diagnosis, throughout the lifetime of the child and beyond. To find out more about Hope House, visit their website here.
