Oswestry Specsavers is continuing its fundraising for nominated charity Hope House by collecting outdoor toys and games.
It’s all fun and games
Specsavers at 24 Bailey Way, Oswestry, is collecting toys and games, appropriate for outdoor use, for the children at the hospice. The toys must be in their original packaging, suitable for children and young adults up to the age of 25. Customers can drop off the gifts at the store.
Staff at the store kicked off their support for the hospice by collecting a total of 57 Easter eggs for the children at Hope House. Generous customers also gave money so the team could buy toys and crafts for children unable to eat chocolate.
‘We’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of our staff and customers who have helped us fundraise for Hope House.’ said store director, Dawn Cheatham, Specsavers Oswestry. ‘We have had the privilege of visiting the hospice and the fundraising goes a long way. We hope to see continued support from shoppers who are able to drop off any toys.’
Hope House provides specialist nursing care and support to life-limited children, young people and young adults from Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales. Hope House support extends to the whole family - from diagnosis, throughout the lifetime of the child and beyond.
