The team at Old Swan raised more than £170 for Save the Children.
Donning their favourite Christmas jumpers as part of the annual ‘Save The Children Christmas Jumper Day’ the Specsavers team went one step further and hosted a festive raffle to raise even more funds for the charity.
With ten prizes up for grabs, ranging from a designer pair of glasses, festive hampers and children’s activity buckets, raffle tickets were sold at £1 per strip.
'Bringing festive cheer'
Specsavers retail director Paul Stanway said: ‘I’m so proud of the team and their fundraising spirit.
'They could have just worn their jumpers all day but instead they decided to do more and organise a raffle to bring festive cheer into the store and ensure we maximised the amount of money we raised.
‘I’d like to thank our loyal customers for getting involved in our in-store fundraising and also thank our dedicated staff who give up their time to make the fundraising event a success.’
