The Northwich team got into the summer spirit by bringing out their finest yellow outfits for a day, in efforts to raise money for St Luke’s Hospice.
Everyone in store took part in the colourful charity fundraiser as part of the hospice’s Go Yellow Friday annual event, whilst also encouraging any customers visiting the store to also join in the fun by donating £1.
Over £60 was raised throughtout the day for the hospice, thanks to kind donations from customers visiting the store.
Going yellow for good causes
The team will also held a charity bake sale in store, selling a selection of scrummy sweet treats, with all proceeds going to St Luke’s.
Salma Kamaluddin, store director at Specsavers Northwich, said: ‘We were hugely excited to all go yellow for St Luke’s. Some of the staff brought out their best and brightest t-shirts to dazzle us all on the day.
‘St Luke’s Hospice is a vital part of our community, helping to support local families, so we want to thank all of our customers who helped us support them by raising as much money as we can.
