A word from the store director
Bryan Clark, store director at Specsavers in North Shields, said: ‘Regular eye examinations are essential, as an assessment not just of the quality of your vision but also of potentially sight or life-threatening conditions.
‘It’s a common misconception that if your eyesight seems fine, you don’t need to get it checked out. That’s why we want to remind people that regular tests are also a vital health check – they can help diagnose an array of other health conditions, some of which can be symptomless.
‘I would urge anyone who has not had an eye examination in the last two years to get one booked.’
Evening and weekend appointments are available at the store to suit those with busy lifestyles.
