Specsavers North Finchley donated high-visibility vests to a local Rainbows group in a bid to keep children safe near the roads.
The store gave the vests to children aged five to seven at the Mill Hill Girl Scouts Rainbows group to promote a message of keeping safe at night in aid of Road Safety Week, an initiative by the charity Brake and sponsored by Specsavers.
Store manager, Francis Keane says: ‘With the clocks changing and the evenings getting darker, we want to make sure that local children are safe and visible at night.
‘We hope our donation will help parents’ feel more at ease when they’re escorting their children to and from extra-curricular activities such as Rainbows.’
