Members of staff from Specsavers in Northampton have received sincere thanks from local charity, KidsAid, for their support over the last two years.
The team raised more than £900 for the charity, which provides support for children and young people to help them overcome traumatic events such as family breakdown, bereavement, domestic violence, abuse or neglect
The charity thanked Specsavers staff and customers in a letter that said: ‘The generosity shown by you all will make a considerable difference to the lives of children in Northamptonshire and we are extremely grateful that you chose to support our charity.’
Store director Marinos Constantinides commented: ‘KidsAid is a fantastic charity and we’re delighted to have supported them for the last two years. Their volunteers have such a positive impact on the lives of children when they need it most, a service that wouldn’t be available without the support of the Northamptonshire community.’
