Newry Optical assistant Toni Finnegan received some fantastic customer praise via the Specsavers online feedback page.
Local resident and customer Mrs Ferguson was very impressed with Toni’s patient and gentle approach when helping her two sons with the selection and fitting of new specs.
Excellent customer care
Mrs Ferguson highlighted Toni’s ‘excellent customer care skills’ saying:
‘I just wanted to say how impressed I am by a member of your staff. Toni has stood out on a number of occasions. My first contact with her was about 5 months ago when my 4 year old had to get drops in his eyes. Needless to say it did not go down well and he cried for an hour after he got them in. He needed glasses but would not co-operate to help pick them or get them fitted. Toni came over to him and took time to talk to him and managed to get him settled and the glasses fitted. She has an amazing way with the younger kids.’
A credit to the Newry store
‘I was in again with my older boy and she helped him pick out his glasses. Toni’s customer care skills are excellent. I was talking to her and was amazed to discover she is only 17. Toni is a credit both to herself and to your business and shows an excellent attitude to work especially for someone so young. I just thought I’d let you know how lucky you are to have her as part of your team. I’m a great believer in giving credit where it is due and this is certainly the case here. I have never felt the need to point out someone’s ability at work before, but I just had to recognise Toni’s efforts’. ☺
