Forgetful children that lose their glasses at home or bury them in sand on the beach could be in luck with the launch of the new nautical collection of children’s glasses, which is part of the Specsavers two free pairs offer for kids.
Children can pick their favourite glasses from four different underwater-inspired designs, which include the much-loved characters Dory, Nemo and Hank the octopus from the hit Disney Pixar film that swam into UK cinemas on Friday 29 July.
Specially designed for young faces
Designed to ensure the best fit for young faces, the Finding Dory glasses are priced at £64 and free for under-16s with an NHS optical voucher. All come fitted with flex-hinges and scratch-resistant lenses with a UV filter making them perfect for trips to the beach. Plus children can also choose an additional free pair of frames in the Specsavers’ kids get two free pairs offer.
A word from the director
Steven Morris, store director, said: ‘Some kids can be a little self-conscious or reluctant to wear their glasses so we hope that these new Finding Dory frames are something that they will be excited to wear. It’s important that children take care of their eyes and Dory is such a popular character that we reckon they’ll be a hit.’
