The team at Newark turned their store pink on Friday 19 October to help raise awareness and money for Breast Cancer Care.
Members of staff dressed in pink for the day and decorated the store to match, raising £112 for the cancer charity. A ‘guess the name of the dog’ competition contributed to the final fundraising total, where customers had the chance to win a box of chocolates by guessing the name of a photographic dog for a £1 entry.
Thank you to everyone who donated
‘The team and I are tickled pink to have raised £112 for this important charity’, said Sarbjeet Soar, store director. ‘We had a fantastic day supporting this great cause and would like to thank everyone who donated to Breast Cancer Care.’
