Amy Brown, senior optometrist at Specsavers Musselburgh is set to embark on the gruelling Edinburgh Kilomathon Sunday 8th April, to raise vital funds for her chosen charity, Pancreatic Cancer UK which offers a range of services to support people suffering from the disease.
The 13.1K is run on Edinburgh’s beautiful cycle path network, passing the historic Royal Yacht Britannia, the picturesque Victoria Park before a fantastic finish in front of the West Stand at BT Murrayfield Stadium.
Amy says: ‘I love to take on challenges and what better way than the Kilomathon through Edinburgh that will help raise money for a charity close to my heart.
‘We are raising vital funds through the store and on our Facebook page so would urge local residents to donate what they can to help support the invaluable work they undertake.’
