Kind customers and staff at Specsavers in Musselburgh raised an impressive £940 during the store’s Red Nose Day fundraiser.
The stores’ charity total contributed to the £475,000 raised by Specsavers stores and offices throughout the UK.
The store stocked waving Specsavers Red Nose Day glasses in small and large sizes. The glasses cost only £2 with the whole £2 from each pair going directly to Comic Relief to spend on life-changing projects both at home in the UK and across Africa.
The staff raised the £940 through glasses sales and Red Nose Day bake sale.
