The Morpeth store has donated a voucher worth £100 to a local group of ladies, The Cycle Sisters, for their fundraising ball.
Members of the local group have either beat cancer or are living with cancer. The store heard about their ball through one of the ladies who is a customer.
They are taking part in the women-only challenge in September, Women v Cancer London-to-Paris Bike Ride, to raise funds to fight breast, cervical and ovarian cancers. They will be raising funds, which will be divided equally between Breast Cancer Care, Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust and Ovarian Cancer Action
To kick start their fundraising they recently held a St Patrick’s Night fun ball and raised an incredible £10,400.
