The team at Specsavers in Morden has completed additional training to provide a greater level of care to customers living with glaucoma.
Staff members from the store have taken a course, developed in conjunction with the International Glaucoma Association, which has helped develop their skills in assisting customers suffering with glaucoma.
The news comes as Specsavers stores across the UK showed their support for World Glaucoma Week (11-18 March), an initiative designed to raise awareness of the condition that is thought to affect around 700,000 people in the UK.
A word from the store director
Richard Sandiford, store director at Specsavers Morden, said: ‘The new training we have completed will enable us to provide even greater service and care to customers suffering from glaucoma.’
