Two members of staff at Specsavers in Montrose have marked important milestones in their careers. The store has celebrated the achievements of Jillian Milne and Angela Boyle who are familiar faces at the High Street store.
Jillian, 27, has qualified as a dispensing optician after recently graduating from Angila Ruskin University. The Montrose local started with Specsavers in 2006 and three years ago decided to undertake the ophthalmic dispensing degree correspondence course while continuing to work full time in store.
Colleague, Angela Boyle, from Brechin, celebrated 10 years with the store in April, joining when the store was only two years old. She is in her final year of the ophthalmic dispensing degree course at Anglia Ruskin University.
Bridgeen Johnston, store director at Specsavers Montrose, said: ‘We are extremely proud of our staff at Specsavers and both women deserve recognition for their hard work. Jillian and Angela have been with us for a number of years and in that time they have seen the store grow into the busy local high street optician we are today.
We are committed to providing the local community with the best customer service and healthcare possible and our staff are a huge part of that dedication.
We would like to congratulate Jillian and Angela on their achievements.’
