Specsavers in Melton Mowbray has undergone a complete transformation and customers are set to benefit from radical improvements to the store.
The renovations to the store on Sherrard Street have been ongoing for five weeks to the tune of £250,000.
The complete store refit allows staff to continue delivering excellent customer service, maintain a fast-growing team and makes the store an even more customer-friendly environment for everyone.
The stores new look
The store now has an extra testing room, an extra dispensing room and a fully kitted out hear care room to help with the increase in customer demand. There is also a new pre-testing area called the diagnostic suite.
Customers were previously taught how to use contact lenses on the shop floor or in available rooms, however there is now a designated contact lens teaching area in store.
With more display space, a wider range of frames can be showcased. There is also a podium which can be used to highlight new collections – currently it is displaying the brand-new designer range of Balmain frames.
Another addition to the store is digital precision eyecare, which helps ensure people find the most suitable frames and lenses for their prescription, lifestyle and vision needs.
A word from the store director
The store remained open throughout the refit, so the local community had close eyes on the transformation taking place. Store director, Marshall Bradley, said: ‘We are delighted with the new look of the store and hope our customers are enjoying it too.
‘The refit allows us to offer the best possible service to existing and prospective customers. We are very pleased to be embracing the latest technology to continue delivering an exceptional experience for everyone that comes through the door.’
