Specsavers in Melksham took part in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and raised funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
On Friday 29 September members of staff from the Bank Street store treated the local community to a charity cake sale.
Store director, Tom Mogford, said: ‘Cancer can be extremely frightening and overwhelming for those diagnosed as well as their friends and family.
‘Here at Specsavers in Melksham, we are pleased to raise funds to help Macmillan’s continued fight against the disease. It was encouraging to see so many members of the local community involved on the day too.
‘It’s the charity’s aim to support those affected by cancer and ensure nobody faces it alone. Thank you to everyone who made a donation and contributed towards a truly moving cause.’
